Like many of us Brits we do love a good cup of tea or coffee don't we?
Whether it be for a quiet 5 minutes to ourselves, a friendly catch up with friends, even a shoulder to cry on it's what we do best. It's important the mugs in our home compliment both our personality and the occasion.

I personally love to save my best mugs for when guests come to visit. Cups and Saucers are perfect for this, not only are they inviting they also bring a sense of relaxation whilst expressing you have the time to sit and listen. It's a great opportunity to grab the teapot have a good catch up and let the refills commence.
Guest mugs are a must have! No one wants to be serving or receiving a cup of tea or coffee with a chip or crack in it so having these separate from the day to day pieces is the easiest way to entertain with confidence.

Simply use them for the season they belong to that way they will keep really nice and last many years to come. I store my seasonal mugs away out of sight with my seasonal home decor to save space in the cupboard and avoid all year round temptation.

We all need those daily go to mugs that we simply love just because...
The kind that brings us comfort and familiarity. Can you remember a time when a favourite mug of yours smashed or the handle fell off in your hands during the washing up? It feels horrible.
Mugs can be so sentimental it may have reminded you of a happy moment in your life, or a special person, or maybe it was the first thing you brought yourself with your first pay packet.
We all need those reliable day in day out mugs that we get excited to use and simply make us feel good.

Mugs are the perfect gifting choice what a lovely way to show someone special how much you appreciate them. It really is all about the little things in life that make us smile the most, don't you agree?
Knowing someone has taken time out of their day to think about you and gift you something personal and meaningful is a beautiful thing.
